Sadettin Saran was born on August 30, 1964, in Denver, USA, to an American mother and a Turkish father. Returning to Turkey at a young age, he later pursued his university education in the USA, earning a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Kentucky. There, he developed an interest in television broadcasting and worked for the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network.


From 1990 to 1995, he worked at the Ankara office of the American aerospace company Martin Marietta. He ventured into sports broadcasting and rights as ESPN's representative in Turkey. In 1995, he founded his own company, laying the foundation for Saran Holding.
